Dunallan Guest House

We had a lovely stay, the room was very nice and cozy and the location is just outside the centre but still at a walking distance from many restaurants and shops. Also, Paul was super kind and helpful!

I couldn't speak more highly of this guesthouse. I arrived quite late, but the owner stayed up to let me in. Very nice guy. The room was really cozy. It was warm, the bed was comfortable. I had a really good sleep. There was an ensuite bathroom as well which was very well maintained. Shower pressure was great. Tea, coffee and a kettle were provided in the price of the room. There are cooking facilities in the dining room on the ground floor so you can save a bit of money not having to eat out all the time, should you so choose. The accomodations itself was very reasonably priced, especially as I only booked a few days in advance. Due to the time of year I went, I can't guarantee the same over the summer as it's a mere 20 minute walk from the town centre where you can get the bus or train if you were looking to explore outside of Perth, though there is plenty to see in the town itself. Overall, I can't find any fault with this place and would highly recommend for anybody looking accomodations in the area

This a very friendly well run establishment in a nice area of Perth. Has everything you require for that "get away moment" and is spotless well decorated and even though they don't do a breakfast they have a deal with a great place in Scone where you can get 20% off and it's very good too. Highly recommend this place to stay.

Frances makes you very welcome. Room was very clean with lovely bedlinen and very comfortable. Although there is no breakfast you do get 2 Croissants, butter, jam and marmalade with biscuits and tea coffee etc. Second time staying there recently.

Dunallan Guest house in Perth is ideally located for a short walk into the Perth city center, close to trails along the Tay, close to Scone Palace and highways for daytrips out of town. Frances works very hard to ensure that her guests are comfortable and looked after. It is on a busy street, so the front room were we stayed for the first night was noisy, however it was the only room left when we arrived, and Frances moved us to a nice room at the back that opened up for the following 2 nights, and it was comfortable and very quiet, explaining that the front room we were in is only used if there are no other rooms available. The parking is tight, however Frances ensures that any required moving of cars is well coordinated. The breakfasts were excellent. Overall, we enjoyed a very nice stay there.

We found this after looking for somewhere to stay the night. Me and my companion wanted a single room each. Only twin rooms were available which was more than we wanted to pay. As we were leaving the proprietor offered us a lower price which we accepted. The room was clean and fresh with a modern tidy bathroom. A full breakfast was served the next morning. The city centre is easily walkable without any need to take the car.

We had a wonderful time here. We stayed in what I named “The Rose Room”. From the moment we walked through the front door I felt like we stepped back in time. The house is extremely clean, the bed was so comfortable and the owner is very nice and accommodating. If we come back to Perth we will definitely stay here again.

Paul is a really nice host, gave us the best recommendation for the town and also in general for our trip. Rooms are really clean and comfortable. We would prefer to stay there next time for sure.
